Sketching Tips Colour and Line

'I wanted to tell you that your Colour and Line – Sketching workshop last Saturday 26.10.2019 in Oxford was one of the best workshops I have been to. It was a truly wonderful day and I learnt such a lot. We were all fully engaged all of the time and when it was time for a break, I was conscious of a reluctance by my fellow students as well as me to take it! My A6 watercolour sketchbook now lives in my handbag along with a few watercolour pencils and water brush. Thank you for a really great workshop.' Feedback from a student

If you'd like to attend a workshop the next one is in Oxford 30th November 10.45am - 4.15pm get in touch through my website and I'll send you more details. Here's what you can expect.

A one-day workshop exploring techniques with colour and line. If you’ve been on a workshop before using these materials, I am teaching something very different. As an artist I am always looking to simplify what I see as well as depict a sense of atmosphere in my sketches. I have some exciting new techniques to share with a small group of students eager to learn and try out new approaches to sketching. Through demonstrations and sharing my personal sketching kit with you we’ll create several colourful and fluid mini sketches to inspire and ignite your creativity to explore further! We will be using a small set of watercolours and watercolour pencils.
